You are responsible for submitting the CORRECT assignment package by the due date and time.
Be careful to make sure you're exporting the correct project.
Screen Size Limitations for your Assignments. Please read and follow this document.
Your program windows will be NO LARGER than 1000 pixels wide by 675 pixels high.
Total Console maximum line width including prompt and/or headings and data will be no bigger
than 60 characters per line.
If you need more prompt, break it across multiple lines.
An assignment is an opportunity for you to show your BEST work. Professional look and feel is part of that presentation.
***Using concepts NOT covered in HausOfPayne.weebly.com/ics3u or the Java2013 textbook to complete summative projects is not permitted (marks will be deducted). Crutch methods (ex. .split(), .replace() You are only to use the concepts/commands/methods/types that have been taught up to the assignment.***
If you're having challenges on an assignment, please speak with your teacher EARLY ON so we can get the
situation resolved and you can keep moving forward.
June 15th - Culminating Activity 2 - Final Project. 15% of the final 30%. Assigned May 24th.
You will also need to work on this at home to submit on time.
May 23rd- Software Concepts Test - Based 100% on the Computing Software Concepts Presentation document in Unit 1 of HausOfPayne. Extended on May 16th from the original May 18th date.
May 18th - Culminating Activity 1 (changed from May 17th) Genius Game - Arrays and overall skills. 15% of the final 30% That's HALF, not 4.5%.
Due at the end of your period. Posted May 3rd, extended May 16th. Late submissions are not eligible for full marks.

March 2nd - Chapter 1-2-3 Test, in class time. Multiple choice, true/false, short answer, multi-sentence answers. Handwritten responses. Details for what to study are here
February 27th - HiLo Assignment , due at end of period - You will ALSO be working on this as HOMEWORK. SAVE
YOUR PROJECT on Thumb Drive for BACKUPS and work at home.

Friday February 17th - Hardware Concepts Test. Not the whole period. Based 100% on the Hardware Concepts Test presentation. Short answer, multiple choice, true/false format. Handwritten responses.
Your projects/assignments will be TESTED on a Room 305 Windows workstation. You are responsible for assuring that your program runs as you expect it, on a Room 305 Windows workstation.
When handing in any assignment/ISU, all diagnostic code that prints to the console should be removed prior to submission. It looks messy and unfinished. For any GUI projects, all console print statements should be removed prior to submission.
