Unit 5 - Methods
This unit is based on Chapter 4 of the textbook
Differences between Local and Global (Class) Variables. - Know this for tests
Local Variables:
-created inside a method when the method is called
-are only visible to that method (can only be used by that method)
-are not available to other methods
-when the method ends, the variable is destroyed and no longer exists until the next call
Global Variables:
- are created in the CLASS
- are available to all methods in the class
- exist for the entire run of the program
